Welcome Back

Welcome back from spring break. I sent an email yesterday to welcome you all back and about some new changes including our Complain Free bracelets and a new recess plan we are trying. As always if you have any questions, comments, or celebrations please don't hesitate to contact me!!

Updates

Well we are getting close to our winter break! Are you as excited as I am :) Just a few updates; today we are having our Madison Mart, tomorrow we are having our popcorn and movie party (I am supplying the popcorn), and then Thursday we will have our all school sing along at 2:00 then the parties start at 2:30. If I don't talk to you before Thursday I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

2nd Grade Play

Tomorrow (11-19-09) is the 2nd grade musical, Dinostars!! The kids will perform for the school at 2:00 p.m. in the gym and then again for families at 7:00 p.m. Please have your child here (dressed and ready to go) at 6:50 p.m. We will meet in my classroom and walk to the gym together. Thank you!!

Word Wall Test Tomorrow

Study those word wall words. Our test is tomorrow! The words are:

you, America, many, paper, before, picture, study, add, rock, and list

The words that are causing the most problems this week are picture and America (they don't want to put that capital A).

Newsletter

Sorry, our school email is down until Monday. So, please look at our wiki to see this weeks newsletter. The kids did a great job on their edible maps, thanks to everyone to provided supplies. I also posted next week's word wall words, there is also a neat game posted on the homework help site www.spellingcity.com. You can upload the new words each week and play games to help you learn them. Neat! Have a great weekend!
